Up-Skilling Our Female Volunteers

We believe in paying it forward by investing in our volunteers. Our programs rely heavily on dedicated female volunteers, and we focus on providing them with the skills and qualifications to succeed.

Key Volunteer Training Initiatives:
  1. Range Officer Qualification: We’ve helped over 50 women become nationally qualified Range Officers (more than all sport-shooting organizations in South Africa combined). This program is sponsored by Tac SHAC.
  2. Glock Armourer Training: In collaboration with Glock International and Bernhard Agencies, we’ve trained 18 women to become internationally qualified Glock Armourers. This training takes their skills to the next level, and Glock International has committed to further upskilling these women.

These training programs are essential to our mission of expanding Girls on Fire beyond Gauteng and empowering women across South Africa and beyond.
