GOSA Girls on Fire: Strength Through Collaboration

Women’s empowerment cannot happen in isolation. By fostering collaboration among NGOs, we strengthen our collective impact and serve the greater good. Over the years, GOSA Girls on Fire has built strong relationships with key organizations, standing together in the fight for justice, safety, and empowerment.

Our Valued Partners

The Reeva Rebecca Steenkamp Foundation

GOSA Girls on Fire proudly collaborates with The Reeva Rebecca Steenkamp Foundation, especially during our 16 Days of Action campaign and the Christa Swart Fighting Spirit Award initiative. Together, we have worked tirelessly to support victims, particularly regarding South Africa’s parole system.

The foundation is dedicated to being Reeva’s voice, continuing her legacy of educating and empowering victims of violence and abuse. Our shared mission aligns strongly with their vision of advocacy, awareness, and action against gender-based violence.

The Jasriel Foundation

Founded by the late Olivia Jasriel, a runner-up for our Christa Swart Fighting Spirit Award (2023), this organization is a beacon of hope for safeguarding women and children in sports.

The Jasriel Foundation is at the forefront of protecting children from discrimination, abuse, and sexual violence in sports, recognizing the vulnerabilities created by unchecked authority figures. Their initiative, Athletes Against Child Abuse (AACA), is the first of its kind in South Africa, ensuring that sports remain a safe space for all children.

Their international collaborations—including discussions with FIFA, USA, and European organizations—further highlight their expertise in this space. GOSA Girls on Fire stands firmly with The Jasriel Foundation in their fight to protect vulnerable children.
